2 - Hepatitis viruses and their families mnemonic

Mnemonic : PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED FELLOW DIED CYCLING .
CREATOR : MYSELF .
Explanation : this mnemonic helps you to remember the families to which the hepatitis viruses A , B , C, D , E belong . this is important because it is asked in many medical post graduation entrance examinations .
Lets see the actual subject
HEPATITIS A : picorna virus -------- physically
HEPATITIS B : hepadna virus -------- handicapped
HEPATITIS C : flavi virus -------- fellow
HEPATITIS D : defective virus ------- died
HEPATITIS E : calci virus --------- cycling

one point worth remembering is that the only DNA virus among all hepatitis viruses is the hepatitis B virus.
Do I need to explain anything more . the sentence is just for the sake of the mnemonic and I mean no offence to physically handicapped people out there. Sorry if anybody is hurt.

1 - fallot's tetralogy surgeries mnemonic

The mnemonic : BRITISH SOLDIERS PLAY DEAD WHEN ATTACKED (or) TURKISH SOLDIERS PLAY DEAD WHEN ATTACKED .

creator : MYSELF

explanation : this mnemonic will be useful to remember which artery is anastomosed to which artery in the blalock - tausig shunt , pott's shunt and waterston's shunt which are used in the treatment of tetralogy of fallot ( TOF ) .
the important point to be noted is that the pulmonary artery is common for all the shunts and hence is not included in the mnemonic .

1. the blalock - tausig shunt anastomoses the subclavian artery to the pulmonary artery
2. the pott's shunt anastomoses the descending aorta to the pulmonary artery
3. the waterston's shunt anastomoses the ascending aorta to the right pulmonary artery .

1. BRITISH SOLDIERS = BLALOCK TAUSIG SHUNT- SUBCLAVIAN ARTERY
2. PLAY DEAD = POTT'S SHUNT - DESCENDING AORTA
3. WHEN ATTACKED = WATERSTON'S SHUNT - ASCENDING AORTA
